A  Paper on  Sirius, The Sun and The Planets,

This paper is a position paper on my current thinking stimulated from contemplating the following quote:

"I cannot give you the relation of the planetary centres to the human
centres or of the systemic centres to the planets. Too much knowledge would
be given too soon and prior to the time when there is enough love present in
human nature to offset the possible misuse of energy with its often
disastrous consequences. The colours, the mathematical rate of the higher
vibrations which emanate from the centres-individual, planetary and
systemic-and the quality (esoterically understood) of the energies must be
the subject of human research and self-ascertained. The clues and the hints
have been given in the Ageless Wisdom. The slower method of research is the
safer at present. In the next century and early in the century an initiate
will appear and will carry on their teaching. It will be under the same
"impression" for my task is not yet completed and this series of bridging
Treatises between the material knowledge of man and the science of the
initiates has still another phase to run."  EA 532

Naturally, the subject encompasses much and my contemplations, which started at the planets , ended up deeply involved with the cosmic logoi! The vast system is one whole and it seems necessary to grasp somewhat that whole before the particulars make sense. At this stage I am trying to formulate the thoughts/intuitions that might be most useful to the group process which brings me back to the practical application

that this inquiry has to the service project our triangle is working on – the anchoring, however faintly of the Sirian energy of Freedom within a physical plane school project.

The practical application goes like this.

1)      The Leo Full Moon is a time where group connection to the energies of Sirius is possible.

2)      In order to reach the earth, these energies must pass from the causal body of the solar logos through the cosmic mental and astral planes into the cosmic physical and then descend through the four ethers and penetrate into our causal bodies on the systemic mental. They must then pass through our own mental, astral and etheric bodies to be effectively ‘anchored’ in a physical location.

3)      Therefore, understanding the relationship between Sirius and our Sun is important and also the way in which our Solar Logos energises its system through the planetary schemes, chains and planets. Hence the focus of the study.

I began by looking at the planets. My hypothesis was this. Perhaps the reason why the planets are so hard to place within the system is because three levels of chakra are trying to explained with only seven ( sacred + five other ) planets. Perhaps the different placements for the planets in average man, disciples and intiates relates to their functioning in the solar etheric, astral and mental bodies. So I started making charts.

Orange colour connotes those given by the Tibetan. Rest is inference. Blue indicates difference from Michael’s allocations.

From here I got stuck on just one planet. Venus. How could it be that Venus is associated with the ajna centre, the heart centre, the solar plexus centre as well as the sacral centre and possibly the throat centre. The only ones that it does not seem related to are the base and crown. Yet! This got me thinking about the role of the ajna centre in the system and how it is such a pain that it is the second chakra and therefore throws out the whole number correlations between the planes and the chakras and the rays.The same problem happens on the higher level when we relate Sirius and the Sun ( SSSOWOIO). Ajna centre or Heart. Second ray, fourth centre – very inconvenient.

So I began to think this way. What if Venus, as the ajna centre was not really considered as part of the system at all. What if it was merely the ‘relating’ principle between three sets of dualities.

The sacral centre and the throat ( first initiation)

The solar plexus and Heart ( second initiation )

The Base and Crown ( third initiation )

In a sense then, venus is like a personal saviour with the message of love. It is the energy of love emanating from the causal body, descending into the three worlds of the personality and uniting the various dualities. Eventuallly building a bridge from the highest to the lowest after making two lesser unifications.

We can see this function in the cosmic physical plane if we consider Venus as the representative of the liberated hierarchies.

As the fifth hierarchy she brings the energy of liberated manas down through the ethers to the systemic mental plane via the monadic plane. She builds a causal body

as a bridge for the human unit, identified with the lower worlds to climb back in consciousness to the buddhic plane and know itself as the fourth hierarchy.

If we related the charkas to the planes directly we would get this.

Venus comes through the crown chakra entering from the cosmic astral plane, is directed by the ajna centre ( monadic plane - Jupiter) down into the solar plexus centre ( mental plane ) where it forms the higher solar plexus centre ( causal body ). This allows her to gather up the energies of the threefold lower centres ( man as an integrated personality ) and lift them to the heart ( buddhic plane ) and subsequently back up through the crown ( cosmic paths ). This is Meditation One as given by the Tibetan.

Once man ( as monad ) passes through the crown chakra ( Shamballa ) he enters the cosmic astral plane through most of the cosmic paths although a couple lead to the cosmic mental plane and one to the cosmic buddhic.

Venus then represents the messenger that allows cosmic buddhi to be transferred down via the love petals of the solar egoic lotus via the seven tiers of petals which represent the planetary schemes, through the cosmic astral plane and into the cosmic physical, down through fourth etheric planes and into the causal body. Venus is the personal saviour and this of course all ties into the coming of the lorda of the flame and Sanat Kumara as the great sacrifice from the Venus chain of the Earth Scheme

( second to the fourth ).

So if Venus performs this function within the solar system, who performs this function in the cosmic system.

The answer would appear to be Sirius.

If Venus is the personal saviour coming from Neptune ( love petals in causal body )

through Jupiter seen as monadic plane representative or heart centre to the solar plexus centre, then Sirius is the Cosmic saviour coming from the cosmic logos  ( cosmic monadic plane ) to lift the solar logos in to full awareness on the cosmic buddhic plane.

We know, like Venus, Sirius is related to the cosmic ajna, heart, solar plexus and sacral ( cosmic astral plane)

In addition, we know that our Solar Logos is taking the third cosmic initiation, possibly in the third system. An avatar from Sirius arrives in a system when a solar logos takes initiation and uses the Cosmic Rod of power.

( Weird thought here – perhaps the Star Sirius IS the Avatar arriving, representing in our local cosmosphere the energies of SIRIUS ( the cosmic energy – perhaps connected with the constellation of Ursa Minor and Polaris )

In this, the second system, the SL is developing love and the planetary logoi are focused upon the cosmic astral plane.

We know that Earth is due to take the second cosmic initiation, probably in the next round and we also know that the earth is the only planet whose monadic, soul and personality rays we can be sure of.

As a third ray personality, earth could have represented a throat chakra in the first system. As a second ray soul is there any way in which the earth could be considered a type of heart centre in this the second solar system? At first glance this seems unlikely however there is a triangle between Venus, Earth and Jupiter. What if Venus was trying to lift the energies of the solar plexus to the heart in  this the second system? Could earth be a kind of heart within the heart in the process of forming?

We do know that the heart is esoterically the seat of the first ray or life principle ( EP1 418). We know that earth has a first ray monad and along with Vulcan ( first ray soul ) and pluto ( first ray personality ) forms one of the three planets where a germ of Solar Will is trying to be anchored as a seed for the Will in the next system. We know this has to do with the plans of the Solar Logos for taking initiation in that next system and with the revelation of a fourth quality of deity related to the principle of

Freedom found on Sirius.

We also know however that the Earth has a strong connection to the base of the spine through it’s relationship to Draco and countless other indications as well laid out for us by Stephen is his paper on the earth scheme. So how could a heart chakra in one system become a base chakra in the next.

Quite easily it would seem. The Tibetan is often talking about a ‘lower three’ and a higher three. Sometimes the higher three are to be found within a system of seven sometimes they are to be found outside it. Sometimes he mentions a lower three which belonged to a previous system. We also have that enigmatic quote where the Gt Bear, Sirius, the Pleaides and our Sol system ( SSSOWOIO) form the LOWER QUATERNARY of an even greater being. If the heart chakra of one system of seven then becomes the base chakra of a higher system, this would  make perfect sense.

In relation to the sacred planets then, we might allocate them as follows to our human centres

1.  Uranus       sacrifice petals of egoic lotus ( head)

2.  Neptune     love petals of egoic lotus   ( ajna )

3.  Saturn        knowledge petals ( throat)( relate to Sirian law of karma on third subpl)

4.  Vulcan       crown chakra  ( heart )

5.  Mercury     ajna centre    ( solar plexus)

6.  Venus        throat chakra (sacral)

7. Jupiter         heart chakra   (base) ( with earth as heart within heart ie kundalini )

The sacred planets would all relate to the monadic rays of the planets and represent the seven tiers of the solar egoic lotus.

In the final system solar kundalini will finally rise from the base to crown and the Solar Logos will take the third when the Avatar from Sirius applies the cosmic rod of initiation which he has brought with him from the central spiritual sun.

Our planetary Logos, the dragon of wisdom-love and earth humanity may be able to form the basis of that kundalini force if the germ of solar will can be adequately anchored in this system.

The seven planets representing charkas in the astral body might be

1. Vulcan      head
2. Mercury – ajna
3. Venus  - throat ( on third subplane and synthesises five kumaras )
4. Jupiter – heart ( earth absorbed by  )
5. earth
6. mars
7. pluto ( Saturn veiling )

Once earth formed the heart within the heart then the first ray triangle of Vulcan earth pluto could activate –( these are the chakas given for use of the first ray by the political workers by the way )

We probably can not go back further because there have probably been schemes that we no longer know about although they would have left their imprint upon the substance of our etheric charkas. Interesting that Jupiter would have been the crown

Of an earlier system ( Zeus)

Ok so this is where I have arrived at in my ramblings, a great deal of speculation but speculation that has been useful in trying to address the underlying purpose – the attempt to contact and anchor Sirian energy.

If humanity on earth are able to shift themselves into hierarchy and thus out of the third ray personality into the second ray soul, they may be able to hold a germ of Will from their first ray monad that will form the basis for the next system. This is the great planetary and solar project. Our work is to attempt to understand this purpose and then by focusing upon the energies correctly to attempt to resonate with them upon the physical plane. We create centres ( in mental astral and or etheric material ) that are tuned into these higher energies stepped down in sequence from

A cosmic logos

Via Sirius to a solar logos

Via venus to a planetary logos

Via hierarchy to a human being

DK gives us a particular alignment to use that he relates to the stage of ‘Masters Heart.”

The "Master's Heart" is a technical term, indicating the sources of life and many analogous interpretations. There is at this stage and after a certain major initiation, a direct line of energy or of life—sensed, recognised, active and utilised—between the conscious disciple and

1. The disciple's heart centre.

2. The heart centre in the head.

3. The egoic lotus, which (until the fourth initiation) is the heart centre of the monadic life.

4. The Master at the centre of His group.

5. The Christ, the heart centre of the Hierarchy.

6. The life of the Monad which begins to make itself felt at the third initiation.

7. The Lord of Life Himself, the heart centre of Shamballa.

The line of relationship then extends from these onward and outward, and upward (spherically considered) to the Life at the very centre of our Earth's "alter ego," the planet Venus, to Jupiter and thence to the solar Lord Himself and on to a point in the Sun, Sirius. You can see, therefore, how different this stage is from what might be imagined. It is one which marks a new departure or beginning and a great transition. It is a stage which one enters through the open door of Nirvana, the beginning of the Path of the Higher Evolution. It is a stage which marks a specific location (if such an inappropriate word can be used) of the disciple upon that upward Way which is revealed by the lighted Way; it is the attainment of the innermost point of realisation, called esoterically "within the heart."

This would be a good place to end this paper. It is not meant to be a clear analysis ( that’s lucky, he says ) but  a kind of jumping off point for the probe itself. The idea was to exhaust the mind and I have certainly done that. I hope there are some useful thoughts here. I have very much benefited from all the contributions made by others
