Dear Group,

The following is a synthetic paper reflecting the results of my meditation a) leading up to the Leo full moon and b) the day of the full moon for this fourth inquiry on the Principle of Freedom.

A nice poem by Rabindranath Tagore which to me, reflects this fourth probe:

Here lies the ocean of peace,

Helmsman, launch the boat.

You will always be the comrade.

Take, O take him to your heart.

In the path of the Infinite

Will shine the “Dhruba-tara.” (the North Star)

Giver of freedom, your forgiveness, your mercy

Will be wealth inexhaustible

In the eternal journey.

May the mortal bonds perish,

May the vast universe take him in its arms,

And may he know in his fearless heart

The great unknown.

-Rabindranath Tagore

Synthetic Notes:

  1. Freedom is a living divine principle. Principles emanate from the Great Bear, from the Sun and from the Monad. The principle of freedom, “which is an aspect of the influence of Sirius,” emanates from the Great Bear which then becomes an aspect of that distant sun, Sirius. It is taught that the sun Sirius is to our solar Logos what the Monad is to the spiritual man.
  2. The energy of freedom is from Sirius. It enters our solar system through the head center of our Planetary Logos and descends into disciples and initiates and finally upon all of humanity. There is a relationship between freedom and love since love is found at the heart of every atom. This relationship would indicate not only love and freedom are found in the heart of every atom but also the atom of all atoms–the Central Spiritual Sun; and of course the Heart of the Sun and our sun with it’s solar system; plus the billions and billions of Sun-atoms.
  3. From Space emanated a sphere of Fire, which materialized into seven energy waves. These seven energy waves became the 7 Cosmic Rays, which passed through great transformations (transformers) until the vibrations of the rays were stepped down. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, which supports all of us and is thus a heart in itself, may have been an instrumental transformer. From the Milky Way the Cosmic Ray of Compassion reached the Great Bear and divided like a prism into the Seven Rays of our solar system. Each Cosmic Ray is stepped down through a group of constellations.
  4.  A Triangle Hypothesis. We know Sirius radiates the Second Ray of Love-Wisdom. There is also a relationship between Sirius and the Cosmic Magnet–the Universal, Central Heart. M.M. instructs that, “The abode of the Cosmic Magnet, the Cosmic Heart, surrounds the constellation of Orion.” It is my (wild) contention that one of the stars in the constellation of Orion is most likely also second ray love-wisdom influence, which may be the “sun” Betelgeuse. The Tibetan said in Esoteric Psychology, “Influential and potent forces pouring in at this time from the great stars Betelgeuse and Sirius.” The Tibetan in his writing is telling us there is a cosmic relationship between Sirius and Betelgeuse. He also stated: “To these two influences, [Sirius and Betelgeuse] the disciples of the world in the senior ranks of the New Group of World Servers definitely react, and they produce a stimulation of the heart centre Betelgeuse and the head centre Sirius.” (E.P II, p. 721) To me, this triangle is made of the Great Bear, Sirius and Betelgeuse becoming triangular transmitting influence of the Law of Freedom.

The Cosmic Magnet: How large of radius does the abode of the Cosmic Magnet encompass? Sirius, Orion, the Pleiades? How are we experiencing it emanations – directly/indirectly? The following star map is an attempt of a visual to indicate the potential “abode.”

Pleiades

Sirius

Orion

Betelgeuse

Aldebaran

The reason for the visual is to cultivate an intuitive sense of the “Science of Relationship” or the “Science of Energies” between the stars and man; and thus the Cosmic influence of the Principle of Freedom.

Will this line of thinking lead one into greater freedom and Self-actualization? Is the process of discovering the energy of this Principle to first explore, then build upon our knowledge, and then renounce what we’ve learn in light of the Principle of Freedom in order to take a next step? Renunciation of knowledge would be a pretty huge step for some people yet at some point doesn’t knowledge become a limitation alongside the Principle of Freedom? First there must be limitation; then – the overcoming of limitation. Even direct knowledge at some point can become a limitation. My present thinking is that fFirst there must be limitation, then, the overcoming of limitation.

Freedom is a magnet; it is obedience to cosmic principles. It is the keynote of this nation and of our solar system.

This principle of freedom I believe is imbued with substance of all of the Great Principles.

The Principle of Freedom is like a great Tower. From this Tower emanates subsidiary laws we are told. Another viewpoint is to image Principle of Freedom is a Great Tree with the subsidiary laws Its branches.

For example, these branches, or subsidiary laws of freedom are also the laws of discipleship– the disciplines of discipleship.

Here are some subsidiary laws that all disciples and discipleship groups must express:

§         Freedom of Beauty

§         Freedom of Consciousness

§         Freedom of Spirit

§         Freedom in thinking

§         Freedom of action

§         Freedom of individuality

§         Freedom of choice

§         Freedom of service

§         Freedom of labor

§         Disciples plant the seeds of freedom by way of example

§         The law of freedom is a Guiding Principle is found working in the heart of the Group Disciple.

§         A disciple respects the freedom of others. If he does not, he is not yet a disciple.

All of these freedoms are branches on the Tree of Freedom – the Tower of Freedom, and must necessarily be safeguarded by all disciples and initiates.

Additional Thoughts:

a)      The law of freedom reconstructs life with a new comprehension of Reality.

b)      Freedom of will abides in all advancing disciples.

c)      From the view of the advancing disciple, he knows that freedom has borders of limitation, but not in the more obvious (earthly) sense.

d)      The Law of Freedom finds the spirit attaining the unattainable. It finds the disciple and the discipleship group with spiritual expansion and in that expansion breathing in the breath of Sirius.

e)      The freedom that entices the ordinary person is an illusion.

f)        The branches of the Great Tree represent the possibilities of the manifestation of the Self.

Through the Law of Magnetic control we are drawn to the Principle of Freedom. It is in the application of this law we are blazing a pathway to the Other Worlds for humanity to tread. It is our Spirit which blossoms the principle of freedom. This occurrence takes place when we move out of the ‘lower heart” (Betelgeuse) into the rays of the higher Sun (Sirius) creating a cooperative alignment between the Spirit and Cosmos.

The heart of the disciple must be free from any corruption – darkness – for full freedom is necessary when approaching Hierarchy.

The pulse of the Central Spiritual Sun must be felt within the heart of each disciples, of each group disciple to truly understand the Principle of Freedom.

When there is a united World Community of disciples on earth, from the abode of the Cosmic Heart will initiate a new rhythm in the life of this planet, raising the planet upon another rung of the fiery burning ground.

It is in the rays of the constellation of Leo we have the opportunity to recognize the freedom of others. In the higher keynote of Leo we see ourselves as one with others, not as a need to ‘rule others’ but to recognize others as our own Self.

How do the lives of disciples reflect the Principle of Freedom? Through striving. Striving we could say in this case is the cause and effect of hearing and responding to the Call of Freedom. Once the call of Freedom is heard in the heart of the disciple, the monad begins to awaken from its sleep, and it’s journey to the Father’s Home begins.

Disciples are striving to hear the great call of Freedom. This call is magnetic and thus Freedom must be a magnet; functioning in the same Cosmic mannerism as the Cosmic Magnet.

The Cosmic Heart nourishes each atom, each cell, and each living form on all planes. The Cosmic Heart and the pearl in the heart of the disciple then inter-relates through magnetic attraction exchanging harmonious energies, vision and inspiration. It is this which the rays of Leo and the radiant energies of Sirius can evoke from the heart of the World Community of united disciples.

Respectfully and thoughtfully submitted.
