THE COMING SCHOOLS OF INITIATION

This section provides information on these schools. The original patterning for them can be found under General Information. We are using the thoughtform given out by the Master DK in Letters on Occult Meditation as the 'orientating idea' for new school work in the Trans-himalayan tradition. There are two important points to remember however.

1. Any idea or thoughtform, even that of a Master is simply a form that expresses the essential 'life' or energy of that which lies behind ideas. That which always IS reveals itself. Matter and consciousness evolve. These two processes of evolution and revelation form a dynamic interplay in time and space. Much has changed in the world since the 1920's and yet the essential archetype remains true. The Schools already exist as energy centres. Outer projects seek to 'clothe' these essential energies in thoughts, teachings and practices that are appropriate to the time and space of their manifestation.

I would here point out to you that the thing which is indicated as existing in the future may not always work out in detail as foreseen. I but seek to lay before you the big general plan in its outline. The working out in the future will depend upon the intuition or high perception of the thinkers of the race and upon the ability of the incarnating jivas to seize upon the opportunities and fulfil their destiny. 2. When the 'life' behind the thoughtforms of the schools is contacted it is recognised that that 'life' originates from the planetary centre, Shamballa. Thus all true occult schools have their common origin in the One Fundamental School. As the source of 'Life' for the entire planet, Shamballa transcends particular pathways and traditions including the name Shamballa and the trans-himalayan thoughtforms. For the schools to be planetary manifestations then they must eventually be able to synthesise with other streams emanating from the same source but using different thoughtforms and terminology.

One point that it will here be necessary to emphasise is that the Brotherhood of Light, as represented by the Himalayan Masters, has its other representatives elsewhere who all carry out specific work under proper and adequate supervision. Too apt are the Theosophists to think that they alone are the repositories of the wisdom religion. Not so is the fact. At this particular moment (with the aim in view of the development and tendering of opportunity to the fifth subrace) the Himalayan Brotherhood is the main channel of effort, power and light. But the work with other races proceeds simultaneously and numerous other projects, all emanating from the central office at Shamballa, are paralleling the Himalayan work ( LOM 302 )

The keynote of the new schools is 'synthesis'. They are schools of initiation primarily because they generate soul unfoldment as a result of building the relationship between the personality and the monad or life aspect.
