The Macrocosmic Logos by Stephen Pugh
Our subject is the Macrocosmic Logos of the Seven Cosmic Rays and the
relationship of His circle of seven solar systems with His circle of
twelve
zodiacal constellations - or - in other words - the interaction of the
seven
Great Ray Lives who inform the seven solar systems with the twelve Great
Lives who embody the constellations of the zodiac. Everything in the
three
worlds is a reflection of that which is found in the heavenly realms
and
much may be learned through a comprehension of the great Hermetic aphorism,
"As above, so below." The student of the Seven Rays admits
the Law of
Correspondence and Analogy as the basis of his cosmological premises
and
recognizes the Hermetic theory.
keynote quotes:
"...we can do no more than accept the fact of the inconceivable
magnitude of
that EXISTENCE which is manifesting through seven solar systems, and
the
extension of this concept of Being to embrace the entire vault
of the
Heavens. (TCF412)
"Life is the synthesis of all activity-an activity which is a blend
of many
energies, for life is the sum total of the energies of the seven solar
systems, of which our solar system is but one. These, in their totality,
are the expression of the activity of that Being Who
is designated in our
hierarchical archives as the "One About Whom Naught May Be Said.
This is the
world of Deity Itself, and of it a man can know nothing until he has
passed
through the major initiations." (EPI332-333)
12 Fundamental Propositions
Proposition One: Each one of the Seven Great Ray Lives is the recipient
and
the custodian of energies coming from
1.The circle of seven solar systems: The Wheel of Life
2.The circle of twelve constellations: The Wheel of Outer Form.
Proposition Two: Within the etheric body of the our Macrocosmic Logos
the 12
constellations of the zodiac are the expression of His 12 petalled
highest
etheric head center and the Quaternary of the One cosmic Life while
the
seven solar systems are the expression of His seven major etheric
centers.
The two Great Wheels, the "Wheel of Seven and the Wheel of Twelve"
both
rotate around the identical cosmic center,
Alcyone. The two wheels are the
double links of One and the same Great Life. This "Life" is
the Great
Intra-Cosmic Logos - i.e., Spirit and Matter, symbolized by the two
wheels,
inseperable from each other. The genesis of
the host of Ray Logoi takes rise
in, and from the "Hub" of the Great Wheel. The Grand Cosmic
Sun of the
Esoteric astrologer is the center to which
the motion of the Ray Logoi is to
be ultimately referred. Within the boundary or "ring-pass-not"
of the cosmic
Logoic system of the ONE OF WHOM NAUGHT CAN BE SAID it is the
seven solar
systems and especially the Grand Cosmic
Sun that determines the cycles of
solar incarnation, solar evolution and the solar progress of the
Ray groups
of "solar bodies". Solar progress onward,
is the result of the united
activity of the seven solar systems and it is their united activity
that
produces a uniform and steady cosmic momentum toward a Galactic
Star Center
in the Unknown wheel of Parabrahman known
only to our Great Macrocosmic
Logos.
Proposition Three: Alcyone, one of the
seven Pleiades, (itself, one of the
seven groups of solar bodies) is the star around which the seven solar
systems orbit. Alcyone is called the "star
of the Individual" and the "star
of intelligence" as it is the central star marking the axial-inclination
of
the Universal system of our Individual cosmic Logos and is the point
in the
Heavens upon which He rotates and revolves. The second law of
Attraction
and Repulsion fundamentally, describes the compelling force of attraction
that holds our solar system and the six other solar Logoi revolving
around
our central unit, Alcyone. This is its
expression of rotary-spiral-cyclic
action, and the solar Logoi's recognition
of their divine central cosmic
magnet. In a close and corporate union, the seven solar systems all
revolve
around the Grand Cosmic Sun. This brings each one of the
solar systems
under the constant impression of the other six solar systems producing
effects upon the united etheric body of the cosmic Logos. It likewise
brings
the seven solar systems under the inflowing streams of energy from zodiacal
wheel of 12 constellations which reach the solar systems via the Grand
cosmic Sun. This involves the study of the place of the solar Logos
within
the cosmic system, the study of extra-systemic astronomy, and the
consideration of the relation existing between our solar system and
the six
other solar systems/constellations, and of our cosmic path in the vast
arc
of the heavens. It bears on the relation of the Seven Suns each with
their
seven major circulating "lesser" attendants; it concerns the
study of their
individual axial-rotation and orbits, and their interaction with their
respective polar opposites.
Proposition Four: Our solar Logos manifests through the solar system,
with
its seven principle sacred planets, each of whom embodies one of His
seven
centers, just as "He in His totality" embodies one of the
seven principle
centers in the etheric body of our Prototypical Intra- cosmic Logos.
The
seven solar Ray Logoi are the prototypes of the seven sacred planetary
Logoi
of our solar system. Each one of the sacred planets is a focal point
for the
force and power and vibratory life of the seven solar Logoi in exactly
the
same sense as the seven centres in a
human being are the focal points for
the influence of a corresponding planetary Prototype.
Proposition Five: Each one of the seven solar systems maintains
its
respective orbital revolutionary period around the cosmic or central
sun.
The seven types of spiral-cyclic energy generated by their united motion
are
suggestive of the nature of the solar Logoi
which they represent, and their
mathematical rates of vibration are accountable for the nature of the
seven
Ray cycles within our cosmic system. In other words, the seven
solar
systems rotate around Alcyone, each in its
respective orbital postion, and
specific mathematical rate of vibration simultaneously
appearing to pass
through the 12 Great signs of the Greater Zodiac. The
circle of seven solar
systems affects primarily the soul on its own plane and it is the paramount
focal point of the seven solar ray energies. The inner group
of seven major
or systemic energies work through the seven representative centers
in the
head. When a man comes consciously and definitely under his soul ray,
then
he comes as definitely under the influence of one or other of the seven
solar systems according to that Ray. (TWM438)
Proposition Six: As the earth in its yearly journey around the sun passes
through a sign of the Zodiac each month, so does our solar system revolve
around Alcyone
in a 250,000 year sweep and pass through each sign of the
Zodiac; but in this greater cycle instead of a month our solar system
requires approximately 21,000 years to traverse each sign. The process
of
passing out of, or entering into, a particular sign and cyclic influence
in
connection with the cosmic sun covers a period of five thousand years.
The
figure 20,833 years is the figure for the passage through each sign
and the
5,000 year figure is the transition figure that accounts for the passing
out
of and entering into a sign. The present Great Ray alignments of our
solar
system are interpreted only in terms of the
present 25,000 year Great Age
of Aquarius on the 250,000 year clockwise wheel. The interrelation
between
the seven rays and twelve signs is only effective in this world period
and
will remain so until the end of the 25,000year Aquarian Age. Keep in
mind;
It is the left to right or anti-clockwise motion
of the solar system in both
its axial-rotational and orbital revolution cycles that cause the twelve
signs to appear to travel backwards.
Proposition Seven: The Wheel of Seven
is Occultly ruled by the Perfect
number, the "10". The whole astronomical and geometrical portion,
as we
know, of Occult cosmology is built upon the number 10. When divided
in the
manifested sphere, in esoteric rendering, one will find the "3"
and "7"
that yield 10, or the figure X manifested and
differentiated, the triple
divine hypostases and the appearance of the Seven Great Mystery Gods.
The
metaphysical significance of Unified Decad,
the 10, offers the key to
understanding. Three of the Ten are in fact One;
existing in possibility,
not in action. The Absolute Three contain in the archetypal world only
ideative and paradigmatical
potentiality. The potency of formative creation
resides with the seven principal forces or Rays. The seven manifested
and
the three concealed form the complete body of the Cosmic Logos; the
higher
triangle stands for the invisible and metaphysical world, while the
lower
septenate for the physical realm. The
Unified Decad, stands for the sum
total of the Abstract Three and the manifest Seven Seven
Rays and represents
the great Intra-cosmic or Macrocosmic Logos in all His Aspects.
Just as the Monad is the sum total of the three Aspects and the seven
Principles, so is the Head center a replica of this and has within its
sphere of influence seven other centers with itself for the synthesis.
These
seven centers are likewise divided into three major and four minor centers.
As a consequence the Esoteric Numeral system is based on the Divine
Septenary hanging from the Triad, thus forming
the Decad. This indicates to
us that Logoic manifestation is of a septenary
nature and the Central Light
of the Logos, the One Ray of Divinity, manifests first as a Triplicity,
and
then as a Septenary. We see the One Logos
radiate forth as fundamental
Father-Mother-Son and these three, again, reflected through the seven
ray
Logoi. In other words, the One Ray demonstrates through the three major
Rays
and the four minor, making a Divine Septenary.
This symbolizes the same idea
as the Sephirothal Tree, ten in all, yet when
separated from its supernal
triangle, leaving seven. One who has studied the numerical evolution
in the
primeval Occult Cosmogony begins therefore, with the symbol of the Boundless
or Infinite Circle
and the One Unmanifest Logos and then proceeds
to the
second Manifested, the Triangle concreting into the Square, and then
the
seven Rays on the material plane. In the symbols of the Circle, Triangle
and
Square therefore, we see three distinct representations of the Universe
as
the Pre-Existing, evolving from the Ever-existing, and the Phenomenal
or
again, the Initial, the Manifested and the Creative Triad or the Three
in
One.
Proposition Eight: The cosmic Logos contains within Himself the
three major
principles or aspects, and their differentiation into seven principles.
These make the ten of His ultimate perfection.

DK's key references and enumeration of the seven cosmic
centers:
Ray I: Great Bear: "The seven stars in the constellation
of the Great Bear
are the correspondences to the seven head centers in the body of that
Being,
greater than our Logos.' (TCF183) "The first 'seven stars' are
not
planetary. They are the leading stars of seven constellations which
turn
[656] around with the Great Bear (S.D. Vol. III, 195)
Ray II: Sirius: In His turn, the Sirian
Logos forms one of the seven Grand
Heavenly Men, (solar Logoi) who are the centers in the body of ONE OF
WHOM
NOUGHT MAY BE SAID. (TCF572)
Ray III: Pleiades: "...cosmic center around which our
system, and the
greater system of Sirius revolve. (IHS191) "...the
Pleiades, the mothers of
the seven aspects of form life and the "wives of the seven Rishis
of the
Great Bear." They are connected with the Mother (3rd) aspect which
nurtures
the infant Christ.
Ray IV: Our solar system: The center in the cosmic
body of the ONE ABOUT
WHOM NOUGHT MAY BE SAID of which our solar Logos is the embodied force
is
the heart center. Our sun is the embodiment of the heart, or love aspect,
of
the Logos (Who is Himself the heart of ONE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE
SAID)
(TCF156) Thus forming the twelve-petalled Lotus, or the heart center in the
Body of the ONE ABOUT WHOM NOUGHT MAY BE SAID. (TCF520) The solar system
is
literally a twelve-petalled lotus, each petal
being formed of forty-nine
lesser petals. [TCF, pg.1019] The evolution of the Son, or the
cosmic
incarnation of the Christ, is of immense importance in the plans of
the
Being greater than the solar Logos, HE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID.
The
animating principles of allied constellations and systems watch the
progress
of the evolution of the Son with keenest attention.[TCF242]
Just as the
planet called the earth is regarded as the turning point or the battleground
between Spirit and matter, and is therefore, from that very consideration,
of great importance, so our solar system holds an analogous place in
the
cosmic scheme. The cosmic man, the solar Arjuna,
is wrestling for His
individualized perfected self-consciousness, and for freedom and liberation
from the form, and from the not-self. So man on this planet battles
for
similar ideals on his tiny scale; so battle in heaven Michael and His
Angels, or the divine Heavenly Men, Whose problem is the same on the
higher
scale.[TCF242]
Ray V: Betelgeuse/Orion: "...the solar
plexus of that great Existence
Whose all-embracing vitality holds our Logos, along with other solar
Logoi,
within the sphere of His consciousness. Betelgeuse from the occult
standpoint is a system of the second order, just as our solar system
is one
of the fourth order. There is consequently
a relation between these two
numbers both in the system and the cosmos. "...streams of energy
definitely
play upon and affect our planetary life, coming from that great
star,
Betelgeuse which are related to the constellations of the zodiac and
whose
force reaches us through these constellations and not directly."
Ray VI: Antares: , "...streams
of energy definitely play upon and affect
our planetary life from Antares and other
stupendous suns and solar systems
which are related to the constellations of the zodiac and whose force
reaches us through these constellations and not directly." (EA15)
"...it is
the most potent constellation as far as our system is concerned owing
to the
fact that this system predominantly expresses love or attractive energy
and
our Logos is as yet polarised in His cosmic
astral body. (TCF 1249-1250)
Ray VII: Draco:
..."the constellation of the Dragon has the same relation
to the ONE greater than our Logos as the center at the base of the spine
has
to a human being." (EA46)
SDP> In the case of Antares, I remind
students wrestling with the
controversy between and over the Tibetan's definition of the difference
between constellations and solar systems that the supergiant
red sun
itself is not a single star system but composed of at least two suns.thus
fitting into D.K's occult definition of a
constellation. Antares is slowly
evaporating under a fierce wind that blows from its surface and that
has
encased it in a small gas cloud or nebula. Ordinarily, such a nebula
(common
among such supergiants) would not be visible
to the eye, but in the case of
Antares, the cloud is illuminated by the light
of a hot companion star that
at fifth magnitude hides closely within Antares'
bright glare.
These are the Primary [Laya] star centers
qualified by seven different types
of energy and limited by Their outward phenomenal
appearance in the Cosmic
Great Body of the Macrocosmic Logos. Animating the Seven Centers which
have
been created by Them, the Ray Logoi are the
sum total of the Consciousness
of the Universal Mind and the intelligent Entities through which the
intra-cosmic Plan is working out. It is the Emanations of the cosmic
centers, functioning within the boundaries of the cosmic system,
that
gathered together all that now appears. Through the agency of
their cyclic
impulses and mathematical rate of vibration, the Ray Emanations give
birth
to the Universal Forms through which the Divine Ideas of the Intra-cosmic
Logos can be carried forward into cosmic completion. All natural events,
cosmic divisions of time, ray influences, and astronomical phenomena,
with
their action and reaction on celestial and terrestrial nature, are based
upon and depend upon the cyclical activity of the seven primary
[Laya]
Star-Centres. From the uniform and united spiral-cyclic motion of the
seven
solar systems then, are produced the
protoypical mathematical rates of
vibration of the Seven Rays. The rates of vibration are enumerated
below:
Ray I: 1, 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000.
Ray II: 5, 50, 500, 5,000, 50,000, 500,000, 5,000,000.
Ray II: 9, 90, 900, 9.000, 90,000, 900,000, 9,000,000.
Ray IV: 2.5, 25, 250, 2,500, 25,000, 250,000, 2,500,000.
Ray V: 3.5, 35, 350, 3,500, 35,000, 350,000, 3,500,000.
Ray VI: 1.5, 15, 150, 1,500, 15,000, 150,000, 1,500,000
Ray VII: 7, 70, 700, 7,000, 70,000, 700,000, 7,000,000.
Proposition Nine: The seven cosmic Paths or streams of energy,
the seven
aspects of the cosmic Antahkarana, make in their totality one great
cosmic
WAY. Each of the Seven Cosmic Paths, leads
to one or other of the six solar
systems which (with ours) form the seven etheric centers in the body
of our
cosmic Logos. The identification involved in this process is a
cosmic and
not a systemic process, and is itself sevenfold in nature. This sevenfold
process we call the sevenfold cosmic Path. The relations between the
seven
Rays, the Paths and the cosmic centers is enumerated below:
Path I: Ray VII: cosmic Base of
Spine.
Path II: Ray VI: cosmic Sacral center.
Path III: Ray V: cosmic Solar Plexus
center.
Path IV: Ray II: cosmic Ajna center.
Path V: Ray IV: cosmic Heart center.
Path VI: Ray III: cosmic Throat center.
Path VII: Ray I:
cosmic Head center.
Proposition Ten: We have been taught that the apparent retrogression
of the
sun through the signs is based upon the precession of the equinoxes
and is
an integral part of the Great Illusion and, further, that the precession
of
the equinoxes is both a fact and an illusion. The Tibetan also instructs
us
that changes which are all the time taking place due to the gradual
shifting
and changing brought about by the precession of the equinoxes cause
the ray
energies transmitted by the various constellations to change with
equal
regularity and steadiness. There are, according to D.K. two primary
types of
ray cycles associated with the zodiac:
a. Those which are connected with a complete zodiacal round, about 25,000
years.
b. Those which are connected with each of the twelve signs, and which
come
in and out of manifestation approximately every 2,100 years. (EP1265)
SDP> Both of these types of ray cycles are
linked with the mathematical rate
of the precessional cycle of the Earth. The
greater ray cycles in the solar
system are linked, under the Law of correspondence,
not only to its
rotation around an orbit but, as well, to the precessional
cycle of the sun.
Our sun does not return to the same point in the zodiac (cosmic spring)
in
its sweep around Alcyone as it reached in
the previous 250,000 year sweep.
(the correspondence to one year in the Life
of our solar Logos) It falls a
little short with each successive sweep and retrogrades backwards through
the signs. There is, a cyclic shifting of solar polar inclination,
due to
the gradually increasing responsiveness of the solar
Logos to His cosmic
Prototype, (one of the seven cosmic Logoi in the Great Unknown Wheel
of
Parabrahman) whereby influences from His protoypical cosmic Logos draw, or
occultly, "attract," His attention
and bring Him more into line with the
greater impulsive extra-Cosmic Will. The sun's axis is, at present,
tilted
at an angle of 7°15' to the ecliptic. The north ecliptic pole lies in
the
direction of the constellation of Draco, the
Dragon, the cosmic center of
the base of the spine and the source or home of the 7th great Ray.
It must
also be remembered that the orbital revolution of the solar Logoi and
the
rotation around an orbit even of the cosmic Logoi can be hastened, or
retarded, by influences emanating from unknown or unrealized Galactic
star
centers.
Proposition Eleven: The zodical wheel
of 12 constellations, as a unit,
demonstrates the two fundamental cosmic motions of axial-rotation and
orbital revolution. It therefore, as a "special unity"
(containing the
inner wheel of the circle of seven solar systems) both rotates on its
own
polar axis and revolves around its greater Galactic
Star Center.
This being
the case we must also logically posit that the zodiacal unit itself
follows
a clockwise precessional
cycle within a greater Unknown Zodiac yet still
within the "ring-pass-not" of the Unknown Wheel of Parabrahman. The Great
"wheel turns upon itself and rolls from north to south and then
from east to
west as it progresses onward and, in one moment of time, this it does."
(Old Commentary) "The entire question of the revolving wheel
with its dual
action and its dual effect upon consciousness must remain a difficult
and
abstruse problem until such time as astrologers have developed a
four-dimensional consciousness "The wheel moves not only clockwise,
but both
ways at once and also at right angles to itself. It turns every
way and
both ways simultaneously. (EA370) It should be remembered
that the Crosses
also turn, being the spokes of the great wheel. Both motions are in
potent
opposition and, symbolically speaking, produce eventually that "tearing
asunder" which always precedes initiation and illumination and
which is
testified to by all the mystics and initiates. This is in reality that
which
produces the destruction of the veil of illusion and is symbolically
referred to in The New Testament as "the veil of the temple was
rent in
twain from the top to the bottom." This constitutes the result
of the dual
activity of the Great Wheel. (EA277) "humanity
is beginning to mount the
Fixed Cross of the disciple, thus reversing its progress upon the circle
of
the zodiac. (EA284) "Owing to the constant movement everywhere,
inherent in
the solar system and the zodiac - onward, interior and revolving - some
idea
can be grasped of the intricacy of the entire pattern.
"...one of the major
difficulties and great problems of the disciple is his extreme sensitivity
to impacts from every side and his rapid ability to respond to contacts
coming from "all points of the compass, from every angle of the
zodiacal
wheel and from that which is within as well as from that which is without,
from that which lies above, below, and upon every hand," as the
Old
Commentary expresses it. The initiate is responsive to planetary,
systemic
and certain cosmic influences and becomes - if I might so express it
- a
lens through which "the many lights which are energy itself"
can stream and
thus be focused upon our planet. "To these energies, the initiate
tunes his
consciousness and thus becomes a planetary server
." "It must be remembered
that, from certain angles, the circle of twelve signs or constellations
constitutes a special unity which revolves within our universe of heavens
as
our planet revolves in the centre of our circle of influences."
(EP II 196)
"The zodiacal wheel is itself essentially a cosmic center; it is
a
twelve-petalled lotus, but it is a twelve-petalled lotus within the
thousand-petalled lotus of an unknown cosmic
Entity, the One referred to in
my earlier books as the One about Whom naught may be said. "(RI339) The
great experience of life takes place upon the "three wheels within
the wheel
of Life,". It should be remembered that
the Crosses also turn, being the
spokes of the great wheel. (EA94) The three wheels within
the Great Wheel
manifest the three basic cosmic energies seeking expression and influence.
If students will bring this idea to the study and understanding of the
three
crosses within the Great Wheel and will refuse to lose sight of the
related
triple energies, they will greatly simplify their studies. The
Macrocosm
eternally reflects itself in man, the microcosm, and hence we have within
ourselves the possibility and the potentiality of total comprehension.
Correspondingly, the microcosm, when known, holds ever the clue to the
Macrocosm.
I. The wheel of the MutableCross:
Turns with a backwards or clockwise
motion from right to left.
II. The wheel of the Fixed Cross: Turns with a forward
or anti-clockwise
motion:from left
to right.
III. The wheel of the Cardinal Cross:
This is the "wheel which turns upon
itself and rolls from north to south and then from east to west as it
progresses onward and, in one moment of time, this it does."The
Cardinal
Cross in reality governs both processes but this is only understood
when
initiation has taken place. (EA152)
The Quaternary of the Macrocosmic Logos
The twelve constellations of the zodiac, each with its own interrelations,
peculiar to its own integral Life, form - each of them - part of a triangle
of energies. Each of these triangles is a unit in itself
but in conjunction
with the other triangles forms part of that major quaternary which is
the
cosmic analogy of the quaternary of the One Life - soul and the dual
psychic
nature, called in some of the esoteric books kama-manas,
plus the vital
nature. These four are the expression of the One Ineffable Cause. (EA609)
I. Aries-Leo-Sagittarius: Soul aspect
II. Libra-Aquarius-Gemini: Mental aspect
III. Cancer-Scorpio-Pisces: Emotional aspect
IV. Capricorn-Taurus-Virgo: Vital/physical aspect
"Astrologers have begun to grasp a dim idea of the interlocking
triangles of
energy as far as our Earth is concerned in the rather arbitrary division
of
the twelve constellations into four triplicities,
covered by such qualifying
terms as earthy triplicity or fiery triplicity, composed each of a cardinal,
a fixed and a mutable sign. They thus divide up the entire zodiac into
a
fourfold group of interlacing and interrelated triads,
each conditioned by
one of the basic elements and thus qualified. These constitute a series
of
basic triangles with a definite reference to our planetary life."
Proposition Twelve: The seven spiral-cyclic ray periods of the
seven racial
rays are presently under the astrological control of the zodiacal sign
of
Pisces. Pisces is the starting point on the clockwise wheel at this time
for the greater round of approximately 25,000 years. In other words,
each
lesser zodiacal ray period of 2,100 years in each sign
is still colored by
and under the Great 25,000 year Pisces 6th ray rulership.
Moreover, Pisces
is the Alpha and the Omega on both the greater 250,000 year round of
the
greater zodiac and the 25,000 year Lesser Zodiac. Keep in mind; the
250,000
year cycle also moves in the clockwise mode. The 250,000 year period
has
reference to the rotation of our 4th order solar system around Alcyone and
the 25,000 year period has reference to the rotation of our 4th order
planetary system. The cumulative forces of the 25,000 year
"great 6th Ray
Piscean Age" on the 250,000 year greater round are powerful,
fundamental
and, at this time, potently destructive.
According to the Tibetan, we have just simultaneously completed both
a
250,000 year round on the "greater" zodiac and a 25,000 year
round on the
"lesser" zodiac. He further states that "it must
be borne in mind that we
are entering another greater round of the Zodiac, and this coincides
with
the lesser zodiacal activity because Aquarius governs the greater immediate
cycle of 25,000 years and is also the sign into which the sun is now
moving
for a period of 2300 years - a most amazing happening and full of import
in
our planetary history;" Both the greater and lesser zodiacal
ray cycles of
25,000 years with 12 lesser periods and the greater zodiacal cycles
of
250,000 years also with 12 lesser cycles are prefixed by the sacred
numbers
of the Great 4th Ray, the "25". The "25",
strikes the mathematical rate of
vibration and keynote for the whole duration of our 4th order solar
mahamanvantara. Every 25,000 years, due to
the turning of the great wheel
the systemic and planetary ray charts are altered and changed to the
new
emeging ray energies. Therefore we find:
Greater Zodiac: A 250,000 year period with 12 lesser zodiacal
ray periods.
Pisces and the 6th Ray rule the present 250,000 year round and it is
the
Alpha and Omega of the greater round. Pisces marks both the end and
the
beginning and is, for this great cycle of the zodiac, the Alpha and
the
Omega. [EA347] Presently, the sign Aquarius rules the next 25,000 years
(almost half-way through the 5,000 year transition period). The
great sweep
of the sun around the greater zodiac (a period of 250,000 years, or
a
complete round) came to an end when the sun entered Pisces over two
thousand
years ago. We are, therefore, not yet free from incidental turmoil.
(EA410)
SDP> 5,000 year transition period between the outgoing Great 6th
Ray Age of
Pisces and the emerging 25,000 year great 7th Ray Age of Aquarius. "The
succession of the greater rounds of the zodiac or a period of cycles
of
approximately 250,000 years has a correspondence to the life cycle of
the
Monad. "
Lesser Zodiac: Lesser round of the zodiac: 25,000 years with with 12 lesser
periods: Pisces 6th ray : Alpha and Omega.
Pisces is the sign with which the
modern world (and by that I refer to an immense long period of time)
is
primarily concerned, for Pisces is the starting point on the clockwise
wheel
at this time for the greater zodiacal round of approximately 25,000
years -
the date of which beginning is not yet revealed to the modern astrologer
or
subject to revelation through his science. (EA344) Presently we
are
entering the lesser period of Aquarius
(half-way through transition period.
(emergence 1640A.D.) 7th Ray: Uranus.
"The passing of our Sun out of the
sign Pisces into the sign Aquarius is another of the conditions bringing
about the present confusion. This confusion of forces in the solar system
is
notably affecting our planet. In the process of passing from sign to
sign,
as for instance the transiting out of Pisces into Aquarius as is now
the
case, the period covered is approximately five hundred years. [EA410]
The
end of the Piscean Age. This simply means that the energies coming
from
Pisces during the last two thousand years are now being rapidly superseded
by energies coming from Aquarius. These result in major changes in the
life
of the planetary Logos and potently affect His body of manifestation
through
the medium of His three major centers: Shamballa, the Hierarchy and
Humanity. Humanity is on its way to a right understanding of services
and is
learning to react to the steadily imposing will of that great Life who
informs the constellation Aquarius, just as our solar Logos informs
our
solar system and our planetary Logos informs our earth planet. (EPII122)
(EXH568) " During His cycle of close on two thousand five hundred
years, a
specific number of men will pass on to the Path of Initiation, and take
at
least the first Initiation, thus transferring their centers of consciousness
out of the purely human into the early stages of the spiritual."
